This is a line drawing of a Vincent HRD motor, which was featured in Vincent motorcycles. Note that unlike what some people think, HRD has nothing to do with Harley Davidson, despite the V-twin layout. It was designed by Howard R. Davies. in 1934, Vincent and HRD collaborated together to make complete bikes. The engine has a high camshaft, but it is still pushrod activated, and has a 50 degree V.
