The Dinkel Acker Märzen Balloon at
rest on Robinson Barracks

The Dinkel Acker Märzen Balloon came to rest on a open field of grass near the family housing on Robinson Barracks. The balloon was grounded becasue the weather was turning foul, with storms over Ludwigsburg. Not wishing to get in the storms, the crew wisely put down in the first open spot they saw, which just happened to be US Government housing. This caused a minor stir with the MPs and the Polizei, but no problems really.
