From the French occupation of Tunisia, you get some Catholics left in Tunisia. Tunis is the seat of the Diocese of Tunis, located at the Cathedral of St Vincent de Paul. The church was built in 1897 on the site of the old Christian cemetery of Saint-Antoine.
