This is a stunning piece that combines an actual black and whit photo with art effects using Gouache to wash out the background to achieve this effect. I love the 3D effect and stark, lifelike contrast of the tree (which is well photographed) that stands out as if seen in snowy mist with the background just receding in the mist. Breathtaking.
