Morning stand in Rudi's reviere. This is damage caused by rooting pigs. They really destroy the earth looking for roots and tubers.

Damage from pigs
My view out the stand, along with the rifle I have come to call "Old Reliable."
My morning stand, after the sun came up. Alas I saw nothing.
The pig damage goes all the way to the woods.
Building new stands at the wood shop. They are built by the forstmeister(in) for their areas, as this is a Bavarian state forest.

More stands being built

For the afternoon, we went out to sit at noon until dark. This is my high-seat. No roof, but it was a clear day...
My view. I saw no game animals. There is a rifle range nearby and from 1:45-5:00 there was a steady stream of shooters.
But I was apparently near an airport, and saw several planes and helicopters like this ADAC (German auto club) rescue chopper.
This plane flew over, sounding powerful
He rolled onto his back and flew inverted for a while.
This guy flew upright.

My mom called this color "Sky-blue Pink"
